2024 Forum Experience

Cultural Safety

A healing team made up of Indigenous counsellors and psychologists will be on site to provide support throughout the forum. You will always be able to access a healing team member in one of the venue’s counselling rooms, where you can have a confidential chat, get some peace and quiet, or simply rest on a comfy lounge.

On Site Cultural Activities

We understand that discussions around suicide prevention can take an emotional toll, which is why we have set up several on-site cultural activities to allow you to re-centre and recalibrate, engage with some deadly Indigenous cultural practitioners, and connect with your peers from across Australia. Cultural activities include trauma informed yoga and art therapy.

Forum Dinner

In the evening of Day One, we welcome you to kick off your work shoes and relax as we host a Forum Dinner for all attendees. Everyone is welcome but it is essential that you email your RSVP to info@aventedge.com to secure your place.

The dress code? Anything you like! Feel welcome to change into your formal attire, but this is entirely optional. Come exactly as you are, but please make sure you RSVP!
